Adidas unveils innovative robot-woven sneakers
They will go on sale next year
Adidas has designed a new technology to create woven sneakers with manufacture studio Kram / Weariness. The designers have created Strung boots with a woven top that perfectly match the individual characteristics of the athlete’s foot.
The innovation of the design lies in the fact that the brand applies an absolutely new principle of weaving: thanks to technology, for the first time, it was possible to place the threads in different directions, and this allows you to create a unique shape of the product.
The out sole of the Strung sneaker is made using latest 3D-technology, which makes the shoe very lightweight and still fits perfectly on the foot.
The shoe is currently only available to professional athletes, but Adidas plans to start mass manufacturing of the model by the end of 2021.
Previously, Adidas presented hiker boots with Gore-Tex technology and opened the first Russian flagship Adidas Terrex .
